Psychology comes to City Osteopathy
We are so excited to add Rachel to our team and offer to you an amazing Psychologist. It’s so hard to find a Psych nowadays, let alone one so experienced. Rachel will be working on Thursdays in our Collins Street clinic starting on March 2nd.
Rachel McGregor is a registered psychologist with over 16 years of experience helping clients of all ages and backgrounds. She completed her Psychology studies at Macquarie University and has since worked in a variety of settings, including psychology private practice, behavioural consultation services and education across Sydney, London and Melbourne.
Rachel is known for her warm and compassionate approach, which helps clients feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. She has completed training in behavioural therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptant and Commitment therapy (ACT) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and uses these approaches to help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviours that may be impacting their wellbeing and functioning. She believes in the power of therapy to help individuals achieve their goals and live happier, more fulfilling lives.
Rachel has completed postgraduate training in Applied Behaviour Analysis and this approach encourages detailed assessment of difficult patterns of behaviour and specific strategies to overcome personal challenges.
Rachel also enjoys working with leaders and managers to improve their self-awareness, decision making and performance. This may include personality testing, strengths assessment and skills coaching to build awareness and confidence in the workplace. Rachel has experience working with boards, committees, and organisational leaders to enhance their leadership skills and engagement.
