Private Health Cover and Hicaps

We support Hicaps and you can claim your benefit on the spot from your osteopath if you have private health insurance. Your level of rebate will depend on your level of coverage and health insurer.

Medicare rebates for Osteopathy

Osteopathic treatment can be covered by Medicare if you are eligible for the chronic disease management (CDM) care plan.  You can be eligible for this if  you are suffering from chronic pain.  If eligible you must visit a GP and they can then write up your plan and include your referral to your osteopath for u. This can provide you up to a maximum of five osteopathic treatments per year rebated by Medicare.  If you are unsure how to qualify for this, please feel free to contact your osteopath for further information, or speak to your GP.

We request that you pay upfront for your CDM funded treatment and you can then get your rebate from Medicare.

Our Melbourne city osteopaths are registered Workcover and TAC service providers. If you are claiming osteopathic care through Workcover or TAC, your osteopath will require the account to be settled on the day of treatment.
