Last night I watched Lateline and thought this interview of cardiologist, Dr Aseem Malhotra, was just brilliant.

I think it’s been floating around in the media for some time about added sugar in foods that are touted as being healthy but this interview really lays it out in a simple and understandable way. I think understanding the problem is half the battle- we try to do the right thing but we’re often getting it wrong. How much sugar are you really putting in your body every day?
