For some time now there have been more and more articles and research suggesting taking Calcium supplements DOES NOT help improve bone density for most people.  And the evidence is also suggesting that it is in fact increasing your chances of having a heart attack or stroke.  A 20-40% increased risk of a heart attack is often mentioned! We have included a couple of articles. It begs the question, why isn’t the general public made more aware of this, and why do we keep getting told that Calcium is so good for bone density?
