Dr Nia May – Osteopath

Nia is passionate about the health and wellbeing services that we provide at City Osteopathy.  She is an active person, and a lover of the outdoors, and brings an interest in natural movement and a broad understanding of health to her work.

Nia graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London with a master’s degree.  She swiftly moved to the north of England to work full time and enjoy the wonderful hiking and rock climbing in Yorkshire.  Nia is also one of our incredibly talented Pilates Instructors in our Pilates Studio.

Driven to provide best care across a wide spectrum of patient complaints and lifestyles, Nia tailors an individual program of care to each patient.  She uses a range of osteopathic techniques alongside home exercises and practical advice to promote long lasting recovery. 

Before becoming an Osteopath Nia graduated from undergraduate study of Psychology, and Literature, and worked as a sports massage therapist.  She is currently training in Clinical Pilates to further promote her patient’s wellbeing.  Nia has a special interest in treating the shoulder and enjoys treating women throughout the stages of pregnancy.

Nia is also one of our very much appreciated Pilates Instructors which she really loves.  She works in our studio a couple of days a week.
