Kristian studied at RMIT University, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). Since then, he has had the pleasure of working as an Osteopath and is based out of two great clinics being City Osteopathy in Melbourne’s CBD and OsteopathyOne in Pascoe Vale.

From an early age, Kristian became fascinated by the human body and its extraordinary ability to adapt to the stressors and challenges of life. He was first drawn to the profession by a local Osteopath who amazed Kristian with his treatment and management of a nasty back injury Kristian endured playing football.

Kristian finds passion in treating ‘chronic conditions’ of the spine that have manifested over a sustained period of time. Spinal conditions may form from a variety of reasons, including traumatic injury, overuse, poor posture, joint dysfunction, disc-pain and different forms of arthritis. Kristian likes to discover the root of the cause and form a treatment approach around addressing all the factors that have been affected by the person’s pain experience.

He strongly believes in the importance of physical movement and implements this principle by establishing management strategies alongside his patients that aim to re-introduce movement at a therapeutic pace whilst empowering and inspiring the individual to achieve their goals.

With an extensive background in Australian rules football from his own personal playing career and a history in fitness coaching after obtaining a certificate III in fitness, Kristian has a vast understanding of sporting injuries, exercise rehabilitation and performance fitness. Kristian finds great enjoyment in assisting athletes return to their sport and maximise their potential.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Kristian planning his next adventure. Whether that may be camping in the bushlands or Australian coastline with friends, snowboarding down the Victorian slopes or enjoying the amazing food culture that Melbourne has to offer.
