At City Osteopathy we have practitioners who are passionate about road riding, mountain bike riding, and commuting, AND we are also passionate about treating any injuries that may arise from these activities.
Bike riding is an incredibly repetitive activity. When riding, you require the recruitment of many diverse muscular groups. To be able to achieve optimal power and torque from these muscle groups, and to minimise the potential for injury, you need to have correct body alignment and correct body position.
We are expertly placed to assess your bodies alignment, muscular control, and joint health and to integrate this with knowledge of correct bike position. By doing this, we will help reduce any injuries that you may have or WILL HAVE, and can give you a planned long term exercise program both for home and also in our state of the art pilates studio to help reduce any future issues that may arise.
