Worried about taking statins? Here’s what you need to know…

After last week’s controversial Catalyst program on the ABC, many wondered if they should stop taking statins to lower their cholesterol.

The key issue with Statins is that they reduce your risk of having a cardiovascular incident, BUT they have real side effects.  Interestingly one of the MAIN SIDE EFFECTS is generalised muscle pain and fatigue that can be very aggressive in some cases.  We have seen this many times as you can imagine…..

Before you consider taking statins,  read this article and discuss your risk of heart disease or stroke with a doctor.
